Blooming Bulbs747 viewsLast November, the second graders of Rochester Memorial School planted numerous daffodil, tulip, hyacinth and crocus bulbs. The bulbs were provided through a grant from the North American Flower Bulb Wholesales Association and they are now blooming! Cookies With Care735 viewsSixth grade students at Old Hammondtown School in Mattapoisett recently prepared baskets of homemade cookies and other goodies as part of their eighth annual holiday program. With help from parents, teachers and staff, the students baked some 1,440 cookies to be packaged in about 130 handmade baskets for distribution to Mattapoisett seniors and shut-ins.
