Spanish Trip245 viewsSpanish students from Old Rochester Regional High School recently enjoyed a trip to the Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) in Boston courtesy of grants from the Marion and Rochester Cultural Councils. Students studied the works of Francisco Goya, one of the most important Spanish artists of the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. They were then able to visit an exhibition of his work at the MFA.

Each fourth grade class represented a word comprising the C.A.R.E.S. acronym: Cooperation, Assertiveness, Responsibility, Empathy, and Self-Control. Class of 1965245 viewsOn July 15, Mattapoisett Center School’s Class of 1952 gathered at the home of Penny and Charlie Hiller to celebrate the 65th anniversary of their graduation on July 18. On that date, the class numbered 29. It is known that nine members are deceased.

“The Machine” Jesse Green245 viewsFamous chainsaw artist and star of the National Geographic Channel TV show American Chainsaw, “The Machine” Jesse Green presented the RMS students with a one-of-a-kind chainsaw sculpture of Bandit, the RMS mascot, on December 15.
