RMS C.A.R.E.S.224 viewsThe fourth-graders at Rochester Memorial School put on a presentation on Thursday, January 26, called RMS C.A.R.E.S. Each fourth grade class represented a word comprising the C.A.R.E.S. acronym: Cooperation, Assertiveness, Responsibility, Empathy, and Self-Control. Anything Goes224 viewsIt’s “Anything Goes” at ORR! Join the Old Rochester Regional High School Drama Club for its 2019 spring musical running March 28 – 31 in the ORRHS auditorium. The show stars Lilah Gendreau as night club singer Reno Sweeney, Eddie Gonet IV as Wall Street broker Billy Crocker, Brianna Lynch as the unhappily-engaged Hope Harcourt, Paul Kippenberger as Hope’s wealthy fiancé Lord Evelyn Oakleigh, Luke Couto as “Public Enemy Number 13” Moonface Martin, and Kate Marsden as the ostentatious Erma.

Sippican School Goes Wild223 viewsThe fourth-grade students at the Sippican School treated classmates and family members to a virtual zoo on the morning of June 5. Students chose an animal, did their own online research, created display boards, and donned costumes to bring their animals to life. The zoo continues on Friday, June 6 from 9:00-10:00 am. Intro to TV Production223 viewsAs a culminating activity, Old Rochester Regional High School students in Intro to TV Production, Video Journalism and Bulldog TV, traveled to Boston to view a live broadcast of the noon news at WBZ-TV, a CBS affiliate. Mike Noyce, set designer at WBZ led the group on a tour of the facility. Students were able to view the live broadcast of the news both from the control room and in the studio. After the newscast, anchor Paula Ebben and Meteorologist Barry Burbank fielded questions from the group.
