The Tri-Town received its share of rainy, windy weather after an off-shore gale created nor’easter conditions for SouthCoast Massachusetts on October 18, 2009. Silvershell Beach and Point Road in Marion were hit with high winds and pelting rain. The area still fared better than other sections of the Commonwealth, which received some early snowfall.
