Dragon Crossing424 viewsMattapoisett Animal Officer Kathy Massey was called to the area of Route 6 at the Mattapoisett/Marion line late Friday morning for what turned out to be a Tegu Dragon crossing the road. The 4-foot Tegu was transported to Mattapoisett Animal Hospital for treatment and was then brought to an undisclosed location for nourishment. Habitat for Humanity423 viewsBuzzards Bay Area Habitat for Humanity recently held a Cape Cod Canal boat cruise fundraiser for their next build. The event was very well attended with lots of great food from local restaurants. The premier sponsor of the event was Pilgrim Bank. Habitat was able to raise $5,000 for their upcoming build.
