Nature Explorers348 viewsMattRec and the Marion Natural History Museum partnered for the second year to provide "Nature Explorers" summer program. The students explored several different locations around Mattapoisett this year. We visited Land Trust property off Mattapoisett Neck Road and Bob Field gave us a tour of his Oyster farming operation. Summer Days348 views Buzzards Bay was active this past Labor Day weekend with boaters and residents out enjoying the late summer weather on this unofficial last weekend of the summertime season. The colors of summer will soon shift to the colors of fall in the harbor, but not before a few more opportunities to take out those kayaks and sailboats with friends and family. Christmas Wreath Sale 348 viewsTeam “Sole Survivor” held its annual Christmas wreath sale last weekend beginning on Black Friday, and they will continue to sell hand-decorated wreaths and crafts throughout this weekend while supplies last. The four grades competed against each other in games like the egg toss, Pictionary, and the three-legged race for a cash deposit into their class bank account. Seniors took first place that day.
