Shakespeare’s “The Tempest” was performed at Rochester Memorial School and the Dixie Diehard’s played at the Marion Art Center this past weekend. Despite the rain there was a huge turn out for the Mattapoisett Youth Baseball season opener. (May 7, 2009 Edition)

The group was formed in August, 2006 and is made up of men who are traditional jazz and Dixieland music enthusiasts, many of whom are also members of the long-established Stone Street Strummers Banjo Band. Cushman obtained the shirt from Richard Carlson, a guitar tech at the Hit Factory in New York where the sessions were recorded, who received the shirt as a gift from Lennon himself.
