Wareham Area Committee for the Homeless10 viewsAnticipating an especially difficult winter for meeting heating and housing needs, the Wareham-New Bedford Elks recently awarded the Wareham Area Committee for the Homeless (WACH), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization doing business as Turning Point, a $5,000 check for rental assistance and home fuel assistance for neighbors in need.
