Marion Natural History Museum270 viewsLast week the Marion Natural History Museum’s afterschool program welcomed the Cape Cod Cranberry Grower’s educator Dawn Allen. Students learned how to tell a ripe cranberry from a spoiled one and who some of the animals are that are found on a bog. They were able to try on the same types of waders the Ocean Spray guys wear on the tv commercials. The Museum’s next program is Nature Crafts, on December 12th.

Holiday Shop at the MAC309 viewsThe Marion Art Center recently opened up their annual Holiday Shop, which features hand-made items by local artisans. The sale showcases original artwork, knitted items, crafts, jewelry, and greeting cards. The MAC Holiday Shop will be open until December 20, 2012. Check out a few of the items below.
