Marion Art Center 201 viewsA survey of 40 years of work by local artist Nancy Dyer Mitton is on display at the Marion Art Center through August 9. Mitton’s use of color in expressing the world around her, be it a coastal scene or a study, pulls on the strings of our memories and allows us to revisit our own lives through the prism of her art. Elizabeth Taber Library 125 viewsKids and their grown-up minders were scattered across the lawn in front of the Elizabeth Taber Library on July 11 when Pine Meadows Farms arrived with a variety of small animals delighting all. From pygmy goats to recently shorn alpacas and more, children learned some basic facts about the animals, but better yet for the toddler brigade, was getting up close to the animals.
