Marion Natural History Museum
The Marion Natural History Museum's Coastal Explorations summer program had a chance to view some of the area's amphibian and reptile species at Washburn Park last week. The kids found painted turtles, a garter snake, bull frog tadpoles, green frog tadpoles and salamander larvae. All animals were inspected by the kids and then released in the same locations from which they were collected. Photo courtesy Elizabeth Leidhold
