The Mattapoisett Lion’s Club in partnership with local businesses hosted the annual tree lighting at Shipyard Park on Saturday, December 13. Mattapoisett Lion’s Club Peace Poster Contest376 viewsIn November the Mattapoisett Lion’s Club held a Peace Poster contest at Old Hammondtown School for the 6th graders. There were 80 participants this year! This years’ theme was “Love, Peace and Understanding”. The winners were: First Place: Spencer Perez-Dormintzer; 2nd Place Kayli Viera; 3rd Place: Maggie Berry & Andrews.
