Cushing VFW Post 2425, which in return gave a moving farewell as it disbanded this year and donated the VFW building to the town. Carolyn Titcomb453 viewsOn April 8, family and friends gathered at the residence of Carolyn Titcomb of Mattapoisett to celebrate her 100th birthday. Those in attendance traveled from throughout New England and from North Carolina to attend the event. Titcomb said she was overwhelmed by seeing so many people assembled just for her and said of her special birthday, “I don’t know how I got here!” Titcomb has two sons, William Titcomb of Marion, and Peter Titcomb of North Carolina, four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Fare Thee Well453 viewsDanni Kleimann led the school staff one last time on Wednesday, June 21, for the annual RMS student send-off. This year, the day marked Kleimann’s last day at RMS as she is retiring after 31 years. Kleimann is best known for directing the Shakespeare plays at RMS and for orchestrating the student send-off every summer.
