Multicultural Festival 487 viewsThe local AFS (American Field Service) held a multicultural festival on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the Center School in Mattapoisett. The festival included several stations that displayed information about different cultures from around the world. Exchange students from Thailand, Panama and Northern Germany also enjoyed the festivities. The town appropriated $3.8 million for the new building, which replaces the old police station on Spring Street. Harbor Days Craze487 viewsThe town gazebo was the scene of another sultry Harbor Days this past weekend. Rows of vendors peddled their fun wares while visitors of all ages enjoyed music, conversation and the best strawberry shortcake in the world.
