Marion Natural History Museum455 viewsThe Marion Natural History Museum's after school group learned some tricks to identifying local winter birds with Justin Barrett, president of the Nasketucket Bird Group. Students used binoculars to view robins, cardinals, mourning doves and Canada geese. We also spoke about the Great Backyard Bird Count that took place February 17-20. She dedicates her year of service to the platform of “Imperfection: Pushing the Importance of Body Positivity in Today’s Youth.” As Miss New Bedford, the 18-year-old Leslie College student has also earned the opportunity to compete for the title of Miss Massachusetts in 2018.
