Tabor Academy Polar Plunge396 viewsTabor Academy hosted its second annual Polar Plunge on Sunday, January 21 at Silvershell Beach to raise money for the school’s Special Olympics Young Athletes Program. Flynn said that the event brought in more than $6,000 - monies that are earmarked for their scholarship fund. She said visitors were awed by the gardens graciously opened for viewing from iconic harbor homes to those set in peaceful rural uplands along the Mattapoisett River Valley. Tuckerfest396 viewsOn Saturday, Tabor Academy hosted the first annual Tuckerfest, a fundraiser honoring Tucker Francis whose life was cut short while diving during the school’s Caribbean Studies program on January 31, 2017.
