This book, which was slated to be taught to Old Rochester Regional eighth graders but later pulled, elicited discussion among junior high parents, some who supported the school's decision to teach the book, some who thought it was too mature for their children.

Mattapoisett Tree Lighting505 viewsMattapoisett lit one of the biggest trees Shipyard Park has ever seen at the 2011 Holiday in the Park. There was food from local establishments, ornament making, merry music and Santa! The moment was enough to spur two romantic marriage proposals.
