Cushing Community Center on Sunday, December 8. ‘Chief’ Santa and Mrs. Claus entertained the little ones before enjoying a pizza lunch. BLM Rochester476 viewsA “Black Lives Matter” protest march drew hundreds to Rochester late in the afternoon of June 12. Escorted by several Rochester policemen on foot, participants who had gathered in front of Town Hall marched down Dexter Lane to the police station, where several individuals spoke about racism and told stories of discrimination based on skin color. Antiques in Rochester475 viewsGinny Decker brought a pair of Victorian era frames to be appraised at Rochester Woman's Club Antique and Collectible show. These frames contain photos of her grandparents Nathaniel and Betsy Barros. Betsy Barros was the cousin of Lavinia Warren Stratton, the wife of General Tom Thumb who was made famous by P.T. Barnum.
