Kids and adults alike enjoyed free face painting, bowling with pumpkins, a corn hole toss, snacks, hayrides to Ned’s Point and, yes, free pumpkins to take home. Annual Halloween Costume Contest 405 viewsThe Mattapoisett Police Department’s Annual Halloween Costume Contest had spectators spinning in circles as the most creative than ever costumes paraded around the Center School gymnasium Thursday night. The show was a creative, educational collaboration between grade 4 teachers, music teachers Sue Audette and Chris Williamson, and art teacher Joanne Smith.
