Rows of vendors peddled their fun wares while visitors of all ages enjoyed music, conversation and the best strawberry shortcake in the world. PanMass Challenge493 viewsLocal Tri-Town residents rode almost 200 miles from Sturbridge to Provincetown on August 7 and 8, 2010 at the Dana-Farber Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC). New Year Plunge493 viewsOn January 1, 2013, Mattapoisett Town Beach played host to a New Year’s polar plunge fundraiser. The event, which attracted over 400 people, raised money to benefit BAM Foundation, Inc., a New Bedford non-profit which donates money to South Coast families dealing with members who have cancer.
