Santa Arrives478 viewsMattapoisett held its annual holiday celebration and tree lighting on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Shipyard Park. The rain couldn't dampen holiday spirits as visitors enjoyed delicious food and listened to Christmas music performed by the Showstoppers. Christmas Swim478 viewsA 2009 Christmas morning swim benefitted Helping Hands and Hooves, a Mattapoisett non-profit organization dedicated to therapeutic horseback riding for adults with disabilities. 40 swimmers and at least 50 onlookers participated in the 2009 swim.
