Triathlon440 viewsOn Sunday, July 8, the Mattapoisett Lions Club held their Annual Triathlon at the Mattapoisett Beach. 172 individual riders and 23 relay teams participated in the event, which included a half-mile swim, 10 mile bike ride and 3.1 mile run. ORR Hockey440 viewsOn Saturday, January 19, the Old Rochester Regional Varsity Ice Hockey Team ventured to the John Gallo Ice Arena in Bourne to face off against the Wareham Vikings. Members of the ORR team check out the scoreboard, which was quite active all night. The official score for the game was 12-2 in ORR’s favor, however, the scoreboard stopped keeping score at 8-2 due to the landslide victory.
