Rochester turned 340 513 viewsHey, hey, it’s your birthday, Rochester! Rochester turned 340 years old on June 4, and the third grade class from RMS was invited to celebrate with some cake and ice cream at the senior center on Tuesday. Students started the day with a tour around historic Rochester before breaking for lunch and sharing a large birthday cake with seniors. Marion Natural History Museum513 viewsOn June 7, the Marion Natural History Museum hosted a talk by Dr. Kaeli of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute (WHOI) on the challenges and eventual triumph of finding a 300+ year old shipwreck.
