Family Fun Festival 497 viewsFamilies came out in record numbers to enjoy the 4th Annual Fall Free Family Fun Festival sponsored by the Mattapoisett’s Lion Club on October 19 held at Shipyard Park. Bruce Rocha of the club estimated attendance at over 400. Kids and adults alike enjoyed free face painting, bowling with pumpkins, a corn hole toss, snacks, hayrides to Ned’s Point and, yes, free pumpkins to take home. Habitat for Humanity496 viewsBuzzards Bay Area Habitat for Humanity recently held a Cape Cod Canal boat cruise fundraiser for their next build. The event was very well attended with lots of great food from local restaurants. The premier sponsor of the event was Pilgrim Bank. Habitat was able to raise $5,000 for their upcoming build.
