Relay for Life498 viewsThe American Cancer Society held their Annual Relay for Life of the Tri-Towns from 6:00p.m. on Friday, June 12 until noon on Saturday June 13 at Old Rochester Regional High School's track. Tradition at the Wayside498 viewsFor 30 years, Edward Days, with the help of his son Anthony, decorated the Wayside Shrine at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Mattapoisett. The shrine was built by Ray Fleurent who passed away this year. When Edward Days passed away 20 years ago, family continued the tradition for seven years. This past Sunday, in memory of his father and all Knights of Columbus, and with permission, Anthony gathered siblings and grandchildren to continue the tradition once again. Pinewood Derby498 viewsOn Saturday, March 2nd 2013, The Cubs Scout Pack 32 held a pinewood derby at the Community Hall of the Congregational Church in Marion. The results were 1st Lucas Marcolini, 2nd Brendan Hubbard, 3rd Nathaniel Bangs, and 4th Nate Robertson. All four move on to regional finals in New Bedford later this month.
