Soles for Soul466 viewsORR high school and junior high school are participating in the “Soles for Souls” campaign to supply gently used shoes to the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. Teacher Margaret Benson said that it’s an attempt to help people who have “lost everything and can’t begin to repair without something to walk in”. This year, the Rochester knitters made items for children, donating 46 caps for preemies at Charlton Hospital, and 19 pairs of mittens, 40 hats, 23 scarves, one sweater, and one pair of socks for "Gifts to Give" in New Bedford.
