Over 227 children and their families participated throughout the summer, and approximately 100 participants came to enjoy the ice cream at the social. Mr. Gagne's experience as a town administrator in Dartmouth for over 20 years helped him get the job as the new Mattapoisett town administrator. The public was welcome to tour the facilities, and children enjoyed exploring all the engines available at the station.
