Feestaardvarken571 viewsFeestaardvarken (Party Aardvark) is a 30-meter long (98 feet) concrete sculpture located in the center of Arnhem in the Netherlands. The sculpture was commissioned by Burgers’ Zoo to commemorate their 100th anniversary in 2013. It was created by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman, who has many great works including a giant rubber duck that has been displayed around the world. Octopurr Fest571 viewsIt’s All About the Animals held its 5th annual Octopurr Fest on October 6. The fundraiser featured food, games, music, and craft booths. Owner and operator of the no-kill shelter, Pam Robinson, said 100 percent of all proceeds would go directly to the care of the felines.
