Town Hall Improvements574 viewsThe students from Old Colony Vocational High School led by Mr. Stu Norton repair and reconstruct the handicap ramp at the Mattapoisett Town hall. The students will be back in September to complete the re-construction of the emergency staircase leading from the second floor to grade. The Town has saved appx. $20,000.00 in labor costs and has provided the students a great learning experience and given them a sense of pride that can't be beat. Celebrating the 4th574 viewsMarion's annual fireworks display attracted several thousand people to the town's Silvershell Beach Park on Friday evening July, 3. The Marion town band entertained the crowd until dusk when the night's big show lit up the sky's above Sippican Harbor.
