Town Tour582 viewsAfter being introduced in class to the history, geography, and government of Marion, third graders from Sippican School recently took a walking tour of Marion village during their last week of school.
Students visited many historical sites such as the Marion Townhouse (formerly Tabor Academy), Marion General Store, and the Sippican Historical Society. They also saw the Marion Music Hall, Art Center, Women's Club (formerly Handy's Tavern), Beverly Yacht Club, and several private homes.
