Hosted by the Mattapoisett Lions Club every year, the triathlon takes racers .25 miles from the shore of Town Beach and back, 10 miles bicycling through Mattapoisett, and 5K through the village around Ned’s Point Lighthouse. The program will feature lively tangos, Brazilian dances, lyrical romances, and Eastern European folk rhythms by world-renowned performers. Suggested donations at the door of $8 ($4 for students) will benefit the music program at the First Congregational Church.
