Mock Trial in Marion1079 views“Anne Hutchinson” (Christina Hai) is sworn in by real-life Attorney Laura O’Rourke during Sippican School’s recent mock trial, The Massachusetts Bay Colony vs. Anne Hutchinson. The Marion students learned about the trial from 1637 where Ms. Hutchinson was banished from the colony for allegedly being “a woman not fit for society” because of her religious beliefs.

ORR Athletic Phonathon1079 viewsThe ORR Athletic Booster Club (ORRABC) will hold their annual Phonathon Fundraiser from March 4 - March 20, 2008. Funds raised by the Booster Club have been used to enhance the school’s athletic facilities and to purchase equipment used by all of the teams. Last year the ORR Girls’ Track Team (pictured here) purchased a golf cart using their team funds raised through Booster Club calendar sales which is used by the school’s athletic trainer to respond to athletes in need of care.
