Local Idols615 viewsMembers of the Showstoppers Musical Entertainment based in Mattapoisett recently took top honors at two regional Performing Arts Competitions. Nine girls competed with six entries at the Dynamite National Talent Competition at Quinsigamond College in Worcester on April 14 and ten girls competed with eight entries in the Headliners Performing Arts Competition held at East Providence High School in East Providence, RI. The group took home several awards from both events.

The tour begins at Handys Tavern, 152 Front Street in Marion, on Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, which has been decorated to accompany the Candyland theme.
