Thanksgiving Banquet93 viewsVolunteers from Old Rochester Regional Junior High School at this past weekend’s Annual Tri-Town Thanksgiving Banquet. The event, organized by the Mattapoisett Councils on Aging, was hosted at ORRJHS on Saturday and was staffed by around 75 students serving a meal to the over 200 seniors. Mattapoisett Santa Stampede92 viewsThe Mattapoisett Santa Stampede took place on Saturday, December 6 with over 300 Santas taking place. The 5K began at Shipyard Park and cut down Ned’s Point Road to the point, around the lighthouse and back. The Grinch led the pack on his bike, and residents stood by to cheer on all the runners. We made snow globes, bird feeders, shell ornaments, and more! We also enjoyed snacks and having fun visiting with friends.
