We took part in some exercises to loosen up and then had fun finding our own specimens to draw. We also had a chance to discuss our different experiences and have some laughs. The group sent a card to a school in Mexico near the Oyamel fir forests of the Central Highlands to share a little information about Marion. We’ll be hearing back from them next spring with more information about the Monarch’s winter habitat. Many thanks to Maggie Payne for sharing her butterfly expertise with the group!
