The group meets at the Rochester Council on Aging and welcomes like-minded artists to join them. Unique to this group, their painting is not under the direction of a leader, each artist works at their own pace. Several (mostly older) residents held it from beaching in rough waters for approximately an hour while waiting for help from Mattapoisett Boatyard and while trying to reach a young volunteer who coordinates all things related to the raft. We met Milo the Fennec Fox and had a chance to compare attributes of Peter Quill the hedgehog to Iris the tenrec. We also met a skunk, a ferret, and a very friendly chinchilla.
