Salty Soirée129 viewsSince 2007, the Mattapoisett Land Trust has invited the community to a soirée at the site of Salty the Seahorse. The Halloween themed party on October 19 featured musical performances by Jeff and Lisa Dunn, storytelling by the campfire with Karen Chace, and make-your-own s’mores. Saint Gabriel’s Episcopal Parish 129 viewsOn Sunday, November 17th parishioners at Saint Gabriel’s Episcopal Parish in Marion created over two hundred apple pies at its annual “Great Pie Challenge”. This annual intergenerational event was brought to Marion by Wendy Reardon who is St. Gabriel’s Director of Youth and Family Formation. About 150 pies will be donated to local organizations who will give them away to people in need.
