Class of 2024250 viewsOld Rochester Regional High School Class of 2024 Valedictorian Jacob Hadley was introduced by Theodore Cecil, his cousin and chapter president of the National Honor Society. The June 1 commencement featured remarks from Superintendent of Schools Mike Nelson and Principal Mike Devoll and music from the school band. Rochester Historical Society250 viewsMalcolm Phinney, his wife Kathy and Claire Smith and her husband Howard “Howie” wore period costumes and shared oral histories of early American life during the Rochester Historical Society’s Fun Fair with A Flair held on June 22. Children learned how to load a musket, Boy Scouts Troop 31 demonstrated archery skills, visitors enjoyed live music and baked goods and those who ducked inside the 1857 East Rochester Church were treated to an amazing display of artifacts.
