Marion Natural History Museum134 viewsFriday night the Marion Natural History Museum hosted a standing-room-only presentation about the Black Bear population in Massachusetts. According to state fish and wildlife biologists Jason Zimmer and Steven Wright, the population is rapidly expanding into the eastern part of our state. Jason gave us some good tips to keep black bears out of our property, including removing bird feeders, covering and keeping our garbage contained, and how to keep bears out of our livestock. The museum wishes to thank Jaso
