Kayak Clinic263 viewsAugust 9 and 10, the Mattapoisett Land Trust in partnership with the Mattapoisett Recreation Department held two kayak clinics for children ages 8 to 12. MLT volunteers provided safety instructions, a major focus of the program. Kayak introductory instruction has been provided by the two organizations for six years. First responders from 19 communities, state agencies and the U.S. Coast Guard responded to the six-alarm blaze.
