After Class Enrichment 267 viewsPerforming arts and drama courses were offered as part of this year's After Class Enrichment (A.C.E.) sessions at Sippican Elementary School. Students combined painted glass and sand art, assisted by Tabor After School Community Service Volunteers, created clay handles for their vases as part of a collaborative project with the Marion Historical Society, participated in 3D printing, and worked on "Once Upon a Time" STEAM activities.

An explosion followed by a raging fire leveled Mattapoisett Boatyard and destroyed the 14 boats and 47 vehicles on site. Members of the Kaiser family who own the business and members of the McLean family who founded the business surveyed the ruins on the weekend and vow to rebuild.
