Marion Natural History Museum 236 viewsThe Marion Natural History Museum would like to thank Mike and Jake Cronin for providing another exciting rocket program last week. The museum’s after-school group had a chance to hear about engines and what goes into making a rocket. Then the students built their own rockets, with nosecones, parachutes and motors and went outside to launch them. The program was a huge success, and all the rockets were successfully launched. Rochester Grange Agricultural Fair236 viewsUnlike recent years when greeted by stifling heat or torrential rain, the 2023 Rochester Grange Agricultural Fair was held in gorgeous weather on August 19. Outside the Grange Hall, attendees enjoyed animals large and small with the Plymouth County 4-H Club, while inside blue, red, green and yellow ribbons adorned winning entries from farmers, gardeners and craftsmen of all ages.
