The Circus, which featured highflying aerial acts, animal acts and plenty of clowns played four shows under the big top during its two-day stay. Thousands of visitors flocked to the Mattapoisett waterfront for this annual event now in its twenty sixth year. Iceland Adventure655 views Elizabeth ad Mary Lopes visited Iceland in October. While there they enjoyed the first snow of the season in the first week of October as well as a visit to the black sand beached near Grótta which is just east of Reykjavík. The black sand on the beaches are made from lava which has been tumbled by the surf for centuries.

The group also compared various artifacts such as relative sizes of Megaladon teeth versus White Shark, and took a look at many examples of fossils such as fish, leaves, and the tiny tracks of a trilobite.
