Christmas Day Plunge316 viewsAt 94, Bob Humphrey was the elder statesman participating in the Christmas Day plunge held at Mattapoisett Town Beach, which including 47 swimmers and raised $2,595 in donations for the benefit of Helping Hands & Hooves. Peter specializes in studying and taking photos of these rarely seen objects from his home in Rochester, and the kids were happy to share their astronomical insights with the group. Marion Natural History Museum316 viewsThe Marion Natural History Museum wishes to thank Officer David Wilson for the trip to view Bird Island to watch some of the unique birds that need the island for nesting. We saw plenty of terns catching fish and an Osprey hover and dive close to Ram Island.
