The event attracted about 20 youngsters aged twelve and younger with each child receiving a new fishing rod and reel as part of their entry. Iceland Adventure638 views Elizabeth ad Mary Lopes visited Iceland in October. While there they enjoyed the first snow of the season in the first week of October as well as a visit to the black sand beached near Grótta which is just east of ReykjavÃk. The black sand on the beaches are made from lava which has been tumbled by the surf for centuries.
