194 viewsForty students from preschool to high school shared their version of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and “The Nativity Story” to a packed church on December 17 at the St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church 2nd Annual Christmas Pageant. They shared the true meaning of Christmas with music, joy and fun for everyone present! Keep on Plungin’ 194 viewsThe annual Keep on Plungin’ New Year’s Day swim drew well over 100 participants to Mattapoisett Town Beach, continuing a tradition started in 2013 by Will and Michelle Huggins to help families facing expenses related to cancer care. In the last two years, the community-driven effort has benefitted three families and Dana Farber with a $1,000 donation in Huggins’ honor. Whale Bark Wanderer194 viewsMattapoisett Museum Curator Connor Gaudet and volunteer Bob Clifford unpack the custom model of the Whale Bark Wanderer 1878 recreated by artist George Lowery from scratch and donated to the museum. The model arrived on Tuesday afternoon from Arizona in a crate weighing a total of 181 pounds.
