Marion Fire reported on its Facebook page that the department received a 911 call for a brushfire that got away from an adjacent property owner. On September 2, an exhibit of recycled/upcycled works of art was on display at the Mattapoisett Free Public Library. We were amazed at the variety of materials and types of art that were created from small shining towers to 3-D book sculptures to wearable art and more.
