We saw plenty of terns catching fish and an Osprey hover and dive close to Ram Island. Officer Wilson also spent the time to show our kids how to tie up the boat we used and then helped us explore every inch of the patrol boat. The beaver lodge was tested to see if it held water back and still kept the lodge dry inside. It was a huge success! Weathervane338 viewsEric Lawrence is building a new home in the Mattapoisett village on Foster Street which will include a cupola with a weathervane on top. “We decided to go with ‘Mary Poppins’ for a fun and whimsical choice. We will have a few children in the neighborhood and thought it be nice for them to see which way she is pointing every day,” said Lawrence.
