Snow Geese338 viewsFaith Ball wanted to share some shots of three snow geese that she spotted in Mattapoisett Harbor during her Saturday morning walk. The geese flew in alone, then slowly joined a large flock of Canada Geese that were also in the area.

Marion Natural History Museum338 viewsThe Marion Natural History Museum after-school group had a wonderful time learning about the Eastern Box Turtle with Brian Butler of Oxbow Associates, Inc. Brian explained why land turtles are rounder than turtles that live in water, and that turtles have been on earth for 200 million years. Box turtles protect themselves by pulling their heads and legs into their shell and closing up, however they don't move very fast.

Beginning at the Town House, the parade route went up Spring Street, then east on Route 6 before going right onto Front Street all the way down to Main Street and back up to Spring. Photos by Ryan F
