Marion Natural History Museum428 viewsThe Marion Natural History Museum's after-school group had a chance to learn about how our local insects survive the winter with Plymouth County Entomologist Blake Dinius. Some form galls, others go into a deep hibernation, some freeze solid, and others hide inside or under things like trees or leaves. Holiday at Shipyard Park428 viewsMattapoisett’s annual Holiday at Shipyard Park was held on December 14 to the delight of the young and not-so-young. The family-centered event featured Mr. and Mrs. Clause, Frosty, and Rudolph as well as a really big beach chair. The holiday tree was festooned with decorated buoys in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Mattapoisett Land Trust.
